Product Description:
The 131U5303 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It regulates the speed and torque of three-phase induction motors in conveyors, pumps, and other industrial motion tasks. By adjusting output frequency and voltage, it helps motors follow process demand without constant full-speed operation. It is suited for systems where the motor must respond smoothly to changing load demands during normal production. The unit is intended for direct cabinet installation and fits applications that use A, B, and C frame sizes.
The drive accepts an input supply of 380 - 500 VAC and is designed for three-phase power. Under those conditions, it can deliver up to 20 HP, equivalent to 15 kW of continuous mechanical output. This power level suits motor-driven equipment that needs controlled acceleration and stable running in industrial service. The enclosure has an IP20 / chassis rating, so it is intended for use inside a control cabinet rather than as an exposed field-mounted unit. The cabinet enclosure also shields the unit from accidental contact and general environmental exposure on the machine floor. A factory-installed RFI filter helps limit conducted emissions, and standard cable entries provide strain-relieved access to the terminals.
For application-specific functions, the B-slot is fitted with the MCB-103 Resolver Option, which supports analog resolver feedback. Daily operation is handled through the Graphical Local Control Panel with the standard language pack, so local status review and drive access are available at the unit. To protect the electronics from airborne moisture, the printed circuit boards are coated, and regenerated energy during deceleration is managed by an integrated brake chopper. The A, C, C0, C1, and D slots are empty, and the unused positions remain open for additional option cards. This layout keeps the installed feedback option separate from the remaining expansion positions.
