The 131U3998 is a variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It is used in industrial automation to regulate the speed and torque of three-phase induction motors and permanent-magnet motors in conveyors, pumps, and other machine systems. By adjusting output frequency and voltage, the drive helps match motor operation to process demand, which can reduce energy use and limit mechanical stress during normal operation. This makes it suitable for applications that need controlled acceleration, stable speed regulation, and adaptable motor control across a broad range of operating conditions.

The drive accepts line voltages from 380 – 500 VAC and provides a continuous output rating of 11 kW, which is equivalent to 15 HP. The mechanical format follows normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, which supports standard panel integration within this drive family.
