The 131U2193 variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss and belongs to the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group. In industrial automation, the unit modulates the speed, torque, and direction of three-phase AC motors. This allows process lines, material-handling equipment, and general machinery to match motor output to real-time load requirements.
Its power section is rated for 30 HP continuous shaft output, corresponding to a mechanical limit of 22 kW. The inverter accepts an input supply of 200 - 240 VAC and is designed for three-phase power, so line reactors and motor cables must be sized for balanced phase loading. An integrated brake chopper dissipates regenerative energy during rapid deceleration, while the factory-installed RFI filter helps the drive meet conducted-emission limits. The enclosure has an IP20 / Chassis protection level, so live parts are finger-safe but the cabinet must provide the required environmental seal.
