The 131B0863 drive controller is built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It is intended for installation on A, B, and C frame panels within a standard control cabinet. In an industrial automation line, the unit modulates motor frequency and voltage to match process demands, providing speed regulation for conveyors, pumps, and general-purpose machinery. This control method lets the drive vary output speed as process conditions change instead of relying on fixed-frequency operation.
The unit has a continuous power rating of 1.1 kW, which corresponds to 1.5 HP. It accepts a supply range of 200–240 VAC and is wired for three-phase power, allowing direct connection to low-voltage industrial mains. The enclosure has an IP20 chassis protection level, so it must be mounted inside a cabinet while still providing finger-safe terminals. Conducted emissions are limited by the integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter to support electromagnetic compatibility. Standard cable entries handle power and control wiring, the language pack is supplied in the standard configuration, the printed circuit boards are uncoated, and no brake chopper is installed for dynamic stopping. Because no separate mains option is fitted, any required isolation or disconnect must be provided on the line side.
The factory configuration focuses on core drive functions. There is no adaptation B or B option, and the C0, C1, and D option positions are empty while the C option software is omitted. An LCP is not supplied, so parameter access must occur through network commands or a separate handheld operator unit.
