Product Description:
The 131B0526 variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As an AC inverter, it adjusts induction motor speed by converting fixed-frequency line power into a modulated output, making it suitable for pumps, conveyors, and general machinery in automated plants. The unit belongs to the VLT AutomationDrive platform and uses mechanical interfaces that support cabinet integration across different frame sizes. Its regulated output allows connected motors to follow process demands without requiring direct operation at the fixed line frequency.
The drive accepts 380–500 VAC mains and is configured for three-phase power distribution. Its motor capacity is rated at 4.0 HP, with an apparent power demand of 4.99 kVA under rated operating conditions. During operation, the switching devices dissipate 116 W of heat, which must be considered when sizing cabinet ventilation and maintaining suitable airflow. The integrated PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA101 interface transfers setpoints, operating data, and status information over the fieldbus. A 24 V DC backup module, identified as MCB-107, maintains the control electronics during a loss of mains power. The A2 frame class and class A1/B radio-frequency interference filter support installation in control cabinets where electromagnetic interference must be limited.
The enclosure is 268.0 mm tall and 90.0 mm wide, allowing its required panel space to be evaluated before installation. It occupies an internal volume of 21.569 L, so adjacent equipment must leave sufficient clearance for cooling airflow and cable routing. Its gross shipping mass is 5.496 kg, which should be considered when planning transport, storage, and panel support. The drive has IP20 chassis protection and is intended for installation inside a clean, closed electrical cabinet. Its cabinet mounting arrangement is suitable for the applicable A, B, and C frame installations. Standard cable entries simplify conductor routing, while the uncoated printed circuit board is intended for controlled cabinet environments without excessive moisture or airborne contaminants.
