The 131B0507 variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Classified under the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, the unit controls the speed of three-phase induction motors used in conveyors, pumps, fans, and other automated equipment. Communication with PLCs is handled by the PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 A Option board, allowing cyclic process data and diagnostic information to travel across the factory network. This connection supports centralized control while reducing the amount of direct wiring required between the drive and the main control system.
The drive provides a continuous motor output of 0.75 kW and has an apparent power rating of 1.66 kVA. It operates from a supply range of 380–500 VAC and uses a three-phase power input. The integrated brake chopper helps dissipate regenerated energy during rapid motor deceleration. An RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter reduces conducted electrical emissions from the power stage. The IP20 chassis enclosure requires installation inside a suitable control cabinet. The compact A2 frame supports normal cabinet mounting and uses the standard cable-entry arrangement. Adaptation B is not installed, and the auxiliary B Option slot is vacant. The C0, C1, C Option software, and D Option positions are also unpopulated, while no separate mains option is fitted.
The chassis measures 90.0 mm wide, 205.0 mm deep, and 268.0 mm high, allowing installation in densely arranged enclosures. Heat dissipation under nominal load is 46 W, which must be removed through adequate cabinet ventilation. The gross shipping mass is 5.316 kg, while the installed unit weighs 4.47 kg. Its printed circuit boards do not have a protective coating, so the enclosure should limit exposure to moisture and airborne contaminants. A standard language pack is included, but the drive is supplied without an LCP keypad. Mounting hardware follows the normal cabinet arrangement for Danfoss A, B, and C frames. The built-in filter provides the available C1 electromagnetic compatibility performance without an additional C1 enhancement option.
