The 131B0041 is an AC variable-frequency drive from Danfoss that belongs to the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It is installed in control cabinets to regulate induction-motor speed and torque in automated machinery and process equipment. The unit translates three-phase mains power into a modulated output that matches the required motor profile for pumps, conveyors, and similar loads in industrial automation. This allows the connected motor to respond to changing process demands without being limited to fixed line frequency.

This model delivers a continuous output of 5.5 kW, equivalent to 7.5 HP, which gives it enough capacity for medium-sized motors used on manufacturing lines. It is designed for a supply range of 380–500 VAC and is wired for three-phase power, so it integrates directly with standard low-voltage distribution systems. An integrated RFI filter rated at RFI Class A1/B (C1) helps reduce conducted emissions so the drive can operate near sensitive instrumentation. There is no brake chopper, and the A, B, C, D, C0, C1, and mains option slots are empty. Standard cable entries and the standard language pack are provided for straightforward field wiring and menu navigation.

The mechanical design has an IP20 / Chassis protection level, so the cabinet must provide the final protective barrier while still allowing airflow around the heat sink. A graphical local control panel is fitted for onsite parameter entry, trending, and fault acknowledgment. Installation uses normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, allowing the drive to be mounted on plates or rails in standard enclosures. The printed circuit boards are not coated, which suits clean electrical-room installations. Standard cable entry geometry, a non-adapted mechanical build, and the absence of option cards keep the layout straightforward for general-purpose variable-speed operation.
