Product Description:
The 131B0039 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It controls the speed of three-phase motors in conveyors, pumps, and material-handling lines by converting fixed-frequency AC power into a variable-frequency output. The drive has a compact A2 frame and supports standard cabinet mounting arrangements for A, B, and C frames. A graphical local control panel displays operating parameters and alarms at the installation site, while the standard language pack supports localized menu navigation.
The drive accepts a three-phase supply of 380–500 VAC and provides a continuous motor output of 3.0 kW, which corresponds to 4.0 HP. Its thermal design supports a continuous output current of 7.2 A, while short-term overload current can reach 11.5 A during acceleration or transient demand. An internal inverter stage regulates the voltage and frequency supplied to the connected motor. An RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter limits conducted electromagnetic interference from the power stage. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so applications with regenerative braking may require an appropriate external solution. Three-phase operation supports stable motor torque throughout the available control range.
The frame measures 90.0 mm wide, 268.0 mm high, and 205.0 mm deep, allowing the unit to fit shallow enclosures while leaving space for cable routing through the standard entries. Apparent power reaches 4.99 kVA, and converter power loss is limited to 116 W, which helps reduce enclosure ventilation requirements. The chassis has an IP20 enclosure rating, protecting against accidental contact with hazardous internal components while requiring installation in a suitable cabinet. The unit uses uncoated printed circuit boards and relies on natural cabinet airflow for heat removal. It has no additional mains module or dedicated software option, and its expansion slots are supplied without installed option cards. Gross mass is 5.386 kg, while the installed net weight is 4.54 kg.
