Product Description:
The FC-321P11KT5E20H2BGXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. Within an automation cell, the converter regulates the speed of induction motors by varying the frequency and voltage supplied to them. This control allows conveyors, pumps, and fans to adjust their operation in response to changing process demands. The drive is designed for installation inside a control cabinet, where its compact chassis can be incorporated into industrial automation equipment.
The drive provides a continuous mechanical output of 15 HP with a nominal electrical power rating of 11 kW. It accepts a three-phase 380–500 VAC supply, allowing connection to common industrial power systems within that voltage range. An integrated brake chopper controls the transfer of regenerated energy to a compatible braking resistor during motor deceleration. The IP20 chassis protects against accidental contact with hazardous internal components but requires installation within a suitable enclosure. A built-in RFI Class A2 (C3) filter reduces conducted electromagnetic interference on the power connections. Proper cabinet grounding, cable separation, and shield termination remain important for maintaining electromagnetic compatibility in the completed installation.
User interaction is provided through the Graphical Local Control Panel, which supports clear menu navigation, status monitoring, and parameter entry. The included standard language pack makes the interface suitable for common industrial operating environments. Cable routing uses standard cable entries, allowing power, motor, and control conductors to be organized within the cabinet. The printed circuit boards are uncoated, so the drive is best suited to clean, temperature-controlled enclosures that limit exposure to moisture, condensation, and corrosive contaminants. No additional mechanical adaptation is included, leaving the enclosure arrangement in its standard configuration. Optional software and safe-stop packages are not installed, so any required safety functions must be provided by the surrounding machine control system.
