Product Description:
The 137N4519 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. This chassis-style inverter converts fixed-frequency mains power into a regulated three-phase output, allowing plant controllers to adjust induction motor speed without mechanical throttling. By varying output frequency and voltage, the unit can reduce unnecessary energy consumption in conveyors, pumps, and general motion axes throughout industrial automation lines. Its power range is suitable for midsized production equipment that requires controlled acceleration, stable operation, and adjustable motor speed.
The drive delivers a continuous mechanical output of 37 kW, which corresponds to 50 HP for systems that use horsepower ratings. It accepts a three-phase supply of 525–600 VAC, allowing direct connection to compatible high-voltage power networks without a step-up transformer. A built-in brake chopper manages regenerated energy during rapid deceleration by directing it to a suitable braking resistor. The IP20 chassis enclosure provides protection against accidental finger contact with live components, but the drive must be installed inside a suitable control panel. Front-panel operation is provided by a graphical local control panel, which offers parameter access, trend displays, status information, and manual motor control without requiring a separate interface device.
The circuit boards have a coated PCB finish that helps protect electronic components from humidity and conductive dust in non-climate-controlled industrial environments. The product belongs to the VLT AutomationDrive EZ group and carries the internal series code 321, supporting consistent parameter structures across compatible FC 321 models. Standard cable entries on the baseplate simplify cable routing and reduce the need for additional modifications during panel installation. The drive does not include integrated RFI or mains options, leaving room for external filtering equipment when electromagnetic compatibility or harmonic control is required. No A, B, C0, C1, or D option modules are preinstalled, so applications that require expanded communication, feedback, or control functions must use separately selected modules.
