Product Description:
The Danfoss 132X2386 drive belongs to the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. This AC variable-frequency inverter is used in automated plants to regulate the speed of three-phase motors, so pumps, fans, and material-handling lines operate only at the torque required by the process. By matching motor frequency to real-time demand, it can reduce energy use and help extend the service life of connected mechanical components during continuous-duty operation. That operating approach also helps limit abrupt mechanical loading during changes in speed.
It accepts three-phase 575–690 VAC input power and is rated for 90 kW continuous output, equivalent to 125 HP at the shaft. An IP20 chassis housing permits cabinet integration while still providing touch-safe protection. Electromagnetic compatibility is supported by an integral RFI Class A2 (C3) filter, and long-term reliability is improved by a coated PCB that helps protect circuitry from airborne moisture and dust. The product code 321 identifies the drive version within the series, and this model includes a Graphical Local Control Panel for plain-text readout, parameter navigation, and local start and stop control from the front of the unit.
The configuration of this unit is intentionally minimal. It is supplied with no brake chopper, and no A, B, or D option is installed, so no added braking hardware or auxiliary expansion is included. Adaptation A uses standard cable entries, while Adaptation B is listed as no adaptation, leaving the chassis in its base form. There is no separate software option, and no C0 or C1 option is installed. The drive is supplied with the latest standard software release and the Standard Language Pack. A no mains option marking means no upstream disconnect package is built into the drive, so line-side isolation must be provided elsewhere in the installation if required.
