The 132N7123 is an AC variable-frequency drive built by Danfoss for the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. It functions as a speed regulator for three-phase induction motors in conveyor, pump, and fan duties, allowing programmable acceleration, deceleration, and energy optimization within automated process lines. It is suited to applications that need adjustable motor speed and controlled ramping during normal operation. By varying output frequency and voltage, the drive lets connected motors match process demand more closely than fixed-speed operation.

This model connects to supply lines rated at three-phase 380-500 VAC, so it can be wired directly into common low-voltage mains used in industrial plants. Its continuous output capability reaches 132 kW, which corresponds to about 200 HP of shaft power for large machinery. The chassis has an IP20 / Chassis protection level, meaning live parts are finger-safe when the unit is installed inside a panel. Internal EMC components meet RFI Class A2 (C3), which helps reduce conducted emissions on motor cables. The unit uses standard cable entries for power and control wiring. It has no brake chopper, so regenerated power must be handled by external means. It is also supplied without additional software options.

Control and maintenance features include a Coated PCB that improves reliability in humid or dusty enclosures. A detachable Graphical Local Control Panel displays parameters in plain text and supports quick-menu editing. Network integration is provided through the EtherNet/IP MCA 121 A option card, which allows cyclic data exchange with PLCs over standard Ethernet infrastructure. The drive uses Latest release – std. software with the standard language pack for multilingual on-screen prompts. The interface presents operating values and alarms in a readable format. It has no integrated mains option, so upstream circuit protection must be provided by the installation.
