Product Description:
The 132L5327 is an AC variable frequency converter produced by Danfoss for the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. Designed for cabinet installation, it converts fixed-frequency mains power into a controlled output that allows three-phase induction motors to accelerate, decelerate, and hold accurate operating setpoints in material-handling, HVAC, and processing equipment. In automated systems, electronic speed control can reduce the need for mechanical gear changes while helping the motor match changing load demands more closely. This makes the unit suitable for applications that need stable motor control across a broad operating range.
The drive outputs up to 125 HP, which corresponds to a continuous mechanical rating of 90 kW. It accepts a three-phase 380 to 500 VAC line supply, so it can be connected directly to common industrial mains without a separate transformer. Electromagnetic compatibility is supported by an integrated RFI Class A2 (C3) filter that reduces conducted noise on the input side. The control boards use a protective coating finish that helps protect copper traces against moisture and airborne contaminants in harsher industrial environments. No brake chopper is included, so regenerative energy from rapid deceleration must be handled by external braking hardware when the application requires it.
Operation is handled through the graphical local control panel, which provides plain-text parameter names and trend views without requiring a separate PC. Wiring passes through standard cable entries, which keeps gland selection straightforward when no adaptation kits are used. The drive is supplied with latest standard software and a standard language pack, so the interface remains consistent across current 321 models. Front-panel access also allows routine parameter review and adjustment directly at the unit.
