Product Description:
The 132L5325 is an AC variable-frequency drive from Danfoss in the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. It modulates supply frequency and voltage to control the speed of three-phase motors used in conveyors, pumps, and packaging equipment. By varying output frequency and voltage together, it supports smooth acceleration and stable running speed during normal machine operation. Its compact cabinet-mounted design fits low-voltage automation panels and provides basic motor control without requiring additional option cards.
This FC 321 model accepts three-phase 200 to 240 VAC input power directly, so it can connect to the incoming supply without a separate transformer. An integrated RFI Class A2 (C3) filter helps limit conducted emissions, which is useful in industrial cabinets where multiple electronic devices share the same power system. Setup, status viewing, and parameter access are provided through the front-mounted Graphical Local Control Panel. The circuit boards have a coated PCB finish for added resistance to moisture and dust, and the unit is built on the 321 platform used for this drive type.
Field wiring is supported by standard cable entries, which provide pre-drilled openings aligned with common metric cable glands and help keep cabinet routing orderly. For applications that are intended to coast to rest, the drive has no brake chopper, so it is not equipped for dynamic braking through an external resistor circuit. The software is supplied at the latest standard software release, and the interface includes a standard language pack for general multilingual use. This arrangement suits straightforward motor-control tasks where standard wiring access and a general software load are preferred over specialized expansion hardware. The open C option position also leaves room for added functions when the application requires them.
