Product Description:
The 132L5125 is an AC variable-frequency drive built by Danfoss for the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. In automated equipment, it regulates induction-motor speed so conveyors, pumps, and fans can follow changing process demands while reducing energy use. By varying output frequency and voltage, the drive helps match motor operation to the load instead of running at full speed continuously. The unit is housed in a chassis format intended for installation inside control cabinets.
This model delivers a continuous output of 37 kW, which is equivalent to 50 HP, and it accepts a three-phase 525–600 VAC supply. The enclosure is rated IP20 chassis, so live parts are guarded against finger contact while the surrounding cabinet must provide protection from moisture and contaminants. Communication with higher-level PLCs is provided through an A-option interface that uses an EtherNet/IP MCA 121 card for cyclic speed references, status words, and diagnostics. This network connection allows the drive to exchange operating data during run, stop, and fault conditions. Standard cable entries are used under Adaptation A, while Adaptation B has no added adaptation. The mains option, D option, B option, C0 option, and C1 option are not included, and a factory RFI filter is also absent.
For local operation, the drive is equipped with a Graphical Local Control Panel that supports parameter entry and trend viewing without a laptop. Energy from rapid deceleration is managed by an internal brake chopper, which helps control regenerated energy during braking events. The printed-circuit boards use an uncoated PCB finish, which is suited to clean cabinet environments with minimal airborne contamination. The drive uses latest-release standard software and includes the standard language pack for common HMI text. This configuration keeps the unit focused on core speed control, local operation, and networked communication.
