The 132L4911 is an AC variable-frequency drive from Danfoss in the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. It adjusts motor speed by changing output frequency, which helps pumps, fans, and conveyors follow process demand more closely. This allows smoother acceleration and speed regulation in automated equipment. By varying frequency rather than running a motor at full line speed all the time, the drive helps mechanical systems match changing load conditions. That approach can reduce unnecessary motor stress in variable-torque applications.
This model supports motors up to 20 HP, which corresponds to an electrical rating of 15 kW. It operates from a three-phase 525-600 VAC mains supply, so it can connect directly to suitable plant power systems. An IP66 / NEMA 4X backplate helps protect internal parts from dust, washdown water, and corrosive conditions, making the unit suitable for exposed mounting locations. Regenerative energy produced during fast deceleration is handled by an integrated brake chopper, which helps prevent DC-link overvoltage during stopping events.
