The 132L4886 AC drive is manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. It functions as a compact variable-frequency controller that converts fixed-frequency mains power into a controlled output for asynchronous or permanent-magnet motors used in conveyors, pumps, and general material-handling equipment. In normal operation, the drive adjusts motor speed to match process demand, which can reduce energy use and improve control during starts, stops, and load changes. This allows connected machinery to maintain steady speed under varying loads and gives the controller a practical role in basic process regulation. It also provides basic safe-stop capability without requiring separate braking hardware.

The unit delivers a continuous mechanical output of 0.55 kW, which corresponds to a shaft rating of 0.75 HP. It operates from a three-phase 380–500 VAC supply and uses an integrated RFI Class A2 (C3) filter to limit conducted emissions. The enclosure has an IP66 / NEMA 4X rating, so the drive is suited for washdown areas and outdoor mounting where dust and water resistance are required. That combination suits installations that need electromagnetic compatibility measures and a sealed housing rather than a ventilated cabinet-only design. No optional A, B, D, or mains hardware is installed, and no C, C0, or C1 software options are present.

For operator access, the unit includes a Graphical Local Control Panel that displays parameters through the standard language pack and supports quick-menu navigation. The front interface makes routine parameter review more direct and allows local status viewing without a separate external keypad. Dynamic stopping energy is handled by an integrated brake chopper, and field wiring passes through smooth imperial cable entries under Adaptation A. The main board uses an uncoated PCB, while the sealed enclosure helps protect the electronics from the surrounding environment. Adaptation B is not used, and line isolation must be provided by external protection devices.
