The 132L4874 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. It regulates the speed of three-phase induction motors used in conveyors, pumps, and general machine automation. The compact backplate design supports decentralized installation on OEM machinery where cabinet space is limited. This layout places the drive close to the machine section it controls and supports direct mounting on production equipment. It comes in the base configuration without A, B, or D options and without a dedicated mains switch, so it can be mounted directly on a panel without extra field-installed modules.

The drive operates on a three-phase 200 to 240 VAC input, aligning with low-voltage industrial mains. Its inverter section is rated at 2.2 kW, which equals 3.0 HP of continuous mechanical output for small process motors. A sealed aluminum backplate with IP66 / NEMA 4X protection blocks dust and high-pressure washdown water, so the unit can be mounted directly on equipment in sanitary zones. Conducted emissions are suppressed by an internal RFI Class A2 (C3) filter. The drive uses standard software and the standard language pack, so menu text remains consistent on the local interface. The C0 and C1 expansion slots remain vacant to keep the footprint minimal.

Excess regenerative energy is managed by the integrated brake chopper, allowing quick deceleration without overvoltage trips. Setup and local operation are handled through the Graphical Local Control Panel, a detachable keypad that displays status, faults, and trend data. Local access to status and fault information reduces the need to open a separate enclosure during normal operation. For installations in controlled-humidity areas, the electronics use an uncoated PCB. Cable entry uses smooth imperial cable entries under Adaptation A, and no secondary adaptation is included.
