The 132L4643 variable-frequency drive is manufactured by Danfoss and belongs to the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed industrial AC line power into a controlled output for pumps, fans, and material-handling equipment. Within industrial automation, it adjusts motor torque and speed to match application demand across pumping, ventilation, and conveying duties. By varying frequency and voltage, the drive supports precise acceleration, deceleration, and steady-state speed control. The controlled output lets connected motors respond smoothly to changing load conditions during normal operation. This helps improve process consistency and reduce mechanical stress in automated lines.

This model is rated for 100 HP mechanical output and delivers up to 75 kW to the motor terminals when connected to a three-phase 525 to 600 VAC supply. The enclosure carries an IP66 / NEMA 4X backplate classification, allowing direct machine mounting in washdown or dusty areas without an additional cabinet. A built-in brake chopper provides controlled energy dissipation during fast stops, and the lack of an RFI filter means external EMC components must be added where required. No A, B, C0, C1, D, or input-power option is fitted, so harmonic mitigation, additional I/O, and bypass contactors must be provided by external hardware.

The Graphical Local Control Panel displays parameters in plain text and supports navigation with a Standard Language Pack. Wiring is routed through standard cable entries on the bottom of the housing. The control board uses an uncoated PCB, so the enclosure seal must be maintained to help block moisture at the housing and cable entry points. Adaptation B is listed as no adaptation, so no special cooling, fan extensions, or special terminations are installed. The drive also omits the C-option set, keeping the housing compact for decentralized mounting.
