The 132L4641 is a variable-frequency drive from Danfoss for VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives applications. It regulates induction-motor speed by adjusting output frequency and voltage, allowing conveyors, pumps, and mixers to follow process demand instead of operating at constant line speed. The unit can be connected to PLC control circuits through its control terminals, giving automated systems compact motor control in place of separate starters. This operating method supports smoother acceleration and deceleration, which can reduce mechanical shock on connected equipment. Its 600 V class design is suited to larger North American installations.
The drive is rated for 60 HP of mechanical output and 45 kW of electrical power on a three-phase 525-600 VAC supply. The enclosure has an IP66 / NEMA 4X backplate rating, which helps protect internal electronics from washdown and airborne dust. Local operation is handled through the Graphical Local Control Panel, where operating values, ramp settings, and diagnostic messages are displayed. Standard cable entries are used for field wiring, and the unit is supplied without added fuses, contactors, or harmonic filters. The sealed housing and local interface make the drive easier to use in enclosed or washdown-prone installations.
The integrated brake chopper dissipates regenerated energy during deceleration instead of allowing DC-bus voltage to rise. The drive uses uncoated printed circuit boards, so the enclosure remains the primary barrier against moisture and contaminants. Because the unit has no RFI filter, external EMC components may be needed where conducted-emission limits apply. It is part of the 321 hardware class, and a standard language pack supports multilingual parameter names on the display. Adaptation B uses no additional adaptation, which keeps the internal configuration simple.
