The 132L4639 is a variable frequency drive built by Danfoss for the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. Within an automated line, it regulates the speed of three-phase induction motors so conveyors, pumps, or fans can match real-time load demands while reducing energy use. Speed control also helps limit mechanical shock during starts and stops, which can improve process stability in continuous-duty equipment. It ships as a finished back-plate assembly for cabinet mounting and uses standard control logic for integration with PLC-based control systems.

This model delivers 40 HP of mechanical output, which equals a continuous electrical rating of 30 kW. It accepts a three-phase 525–600 VAC supply, allowing operation from industrial mains in that voltage range without requiring a separate transformer. The enclosure has an IP66 / NEMA 4X backplate rating, which helps protect the electronics against dust and washdown exposure when the back plate is installed correctly. Local access is provided through a Graphical Local Control Panel that supports parameter entry, status viewing, and manual run commands at the drive. Cable entry uses standard cable entries, and Adaptation B adds no additional mechanical change.

Braking energy is handled by a brake chopper, which lets an external resistor absorb regenerated energy during rapid deceleration. The circuit boards use an uncoated PCB finish, which suits clean indoor locations where added board coating is not required. The unit also leaves option slots A, B, C0, C1, and D empty, so communication or filter accessories are not installed at the factory. It is supplied without a mains option or RFI filter, keeping the configuration focused on the base drive functions. This version remains a straightforward back-plate unit intended for applications that do not need factory-installed expansion hardware.
