Product Description:
The 132L4572 variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss as part of the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. As an AC drive, it regulates the speed and torque of three-phase induction motors so machine operation can follow changing process demand in industrial automation lines. The unit is intended for compact, chassis-mounted installation, which helps it fit control cabinets where space is limited. By matching motor output to the application, it can reduce unnecessary full-speed operation and help maintain smoother process control across varying load conditions.
This model accepts a supply of three-phase 380-500 VAC, making it compatible with common low-voltage feeders used in industrial plants. The inverter delivers 22 kW of continuous output, which is equivalent to 30 HP and supports medium-duty motor loads such as pumps, fans, and conveyors. An integrated brake chopper dissipates regenerated energy during rapid deceleration to help prevent DC-bus overvoltage. The enclosure has an IP20 / Chassis rating, so the drive is intended for installation inside a ventilated electrical cabinet rather than direct exposure on the machine. Adequate cabinet airflow remains important because the chassis format does not provide a sealed external enclosure. It uses uncoated circuit boards, so clean indoor cabinet conditions are preferred to reduce exposure to moisture and conductive contaminants.
Operator access is provided through a Graphical Local Control Panel, allowing local viewing of status information, fault messages, and parameter menus. A graphical display can make operating state and parameter groups easier to read during local use. The drive includes an RFI Class A2 (C3) filter to reduce conducted emissions in industrial environments where EMC control is required. Power and signal wiring enter through standard cable entries, which help keep cable routing orderly in a chassis-mounted cabinet layout. On-screen text uses a standard language pack, and the interface supports routine adjustment and monitoring without requiring an external control device for basic local interaction.
