The 132L4552 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. It controls the speed of induction motors in material-handling cells, fan arrays, and similar automated equipment by adjusting output frequency and voltage in real time. This allows the connected machine to run at the speed the process requires instead of operating continuously at full motor speed. Because the output is varied continuously, the drive can match motor speed to changing process demand during normal operation. It is intended for automation duties where compact drive control and straightforward local operation are needed.

When supplied with three-phase 200-240 VAC, the drive is rated at 7.5 kW and can support motors up to 10 HP. The housing has an IP20 / chassis protection level, so it is meant for installation inside a control cabinet rather than direct exposure on the machine. For electromagnetic compatibility, an internal RFI Class A2 (C3) filter reduces conducted noise on the mains and helps the unit fit industrial panel environments. Operation and setup are handled through a graphical local control panel, which provides parameter entry, status text, and local jogging without requiring an external interface for basic use. During deceleration, an integrated brake chopper absorbs returned energy from the motor, which helps the drive manage moderate inertia loads without separate braking hardware. Wiring is arranged through standard cable entries under Adaptation A, and the power section uses an uncoated PCB intended for cabinets with controlled humidity and clean air. This combination supports straightforward panel installation and everyday operation in typical indoor industrial settings.
