The 132L4441 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. It adjusts the speed of three-phase induction motors to match process demand in conveyors, pumps, and material-handling equipment. In automated systems, the unit varies output frequency and voltage so motor torque and speed follow changing load conditions. Built-in power electronics provide closed-loop motor control without relying on mechanical throttling, which helps support compact retrofit installations and more efficient machine operation.

The drive delivers 30 kW of continuous output, equal to 40 HP, when it is supplied with three-phase 200 to 240 VAC power. Its IP20 chassis enclosure is intended for installation in a ventilated cabinet rather than open exposure on the machine. A built-in RFI Class A2 (C3) filter reduces conducted emissions on the supply side, which helps the unit fit typical industrial electrical environments. The standard cable-entry arrangement leaves the gland plate unchanged for straightforward panel layout. Because the order code lists no mains option, external line protection is required and must be provided separately.

Control integration is handled through the EtherNet/IP MCA 121 option card, which exchanges real-time setpoints and status data with a PLC over industrial Ethernet. Parameters can be viewed and changed through the Graphical Local Control Panel without connecting a computer, which is useful for local setup and routine adjustments at the cabinet. Deceleration energy is managed by an internal brake chopper, allowing the drive to handle braking events from suitable loads without an external braking unit in many cases. The control board uses an uncoated PCB for applications that do not require conformal coating, and the unit is supplied without B, C, C0, C1, or D option modules.
