132L4429 is a 15 kilowatts AC drive from Danfoss’s VLT FC 321 series. Tools needed for drive installation include lifting aids, drill, tape measure, screwdrivers, wire crimper and pliers. Items supplied with the unit vary with configuration. Operators must review information listed on the drive nameplate to identify its specifications, and conduct a visual inspection to ensure that the drive is undamaged. Information printed on the nameplate includes the type code, code, power rating, input voltage, output voltage, enclosure size, and certifications. Hazardous voltages on the drive can cause electric shock and even death. Therefore, only personnel with requisite skills should work on the drive. Before starting any maintenance activity, the motor must be stopped and the AC power to the drive must be disconnected. A wait time of 15 minutes after AC mains disconnection is required to allow DC-link capacitors to discharge fully.
Hot surface on the drive can cause serious burns. Therefore, appropriate precautions must be taken to prevent accidental contact.
