The 132L4017 AC drive is produced by Danfoss within the VLT EZ FC 321 Automation Drives series. It interfaces between plant power and motor terminals, letting controllers vary frequency and voltage for conveyors, pumps, or fans. This control flexibility helps stabilize speed and reduce unnecessary motor loading.
It accepts a nominal supply of 380–500 V AC three-phase power and inverts it for motor control. Output capacity reaches 15 kW or 20 HP for mid-size industrial duties. An integrated RFI Class A2 (C3) filter limits conducted noise, reducing external filter needs. The enclosure meets IP20 chassis requirements, so the unit belongs in a ventilated control panel.
Parameter access is provided by the Graphical Local Control Panel, enabling operators to edit setpoints locally and review operating data at the drive. Safe-stop energy is handled by the integrated brake chopper, so no separate resistor card is needed for that function. The power board uses a not coated PCB, which is best suited to clean environments.
