Product Description:
The FC-202PK75T2131B9152 is an AC variable frequency drive built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. Designed for centrifugal pumps, blowers, and similar loads, the drive converts fixed mains power into variable-voltage, variable-frequency output so automation controllers can match motor speed to real-time demand. By adjusting speed instead of throttling valves, the unit helps water and wastewater plants lower power consumption and reduce mechanical stress. It occupies minimal cabinet space and integrates with standard control panels through its terminal strip and numerical keypad.
The rated motor output is 0.75 kW, which is equivalent to 1.0 HP, making the drive suitable for sub-kilowatt motors on booster skids. It accepts a three-phase supply of 200–240 VAC, draws 4.1 A, and delivers a continuous output of 4.6 A. Apparent power reaches 1.66 kVA, a value used when sizing contactors and cables. A maximum 10 A pre-fuse protects the input bridge from short-circuit faults. Power loss is 54 W at rated load, helping keep panel heat rise manageable. Shielded motor leads may run up to 150 m, while unshielded leads may run up to 300 m, providing routing flexibility without output chokes.
At rated load, the drive operates with an efficiency of 0.95, so only five percent of the electrical energy is dissipated as heat. The ambient temperature range extends from 0 °C to 50 °C, allowing full-load service in most pump rooms without auxiliary cooling. Installation is permitted at altitudes up to 1,000 m without derating and up to 3,000 m when output current is reduced according to site elevation. The unit withstands sinusoidal vibration levels up to 1.0 g, supporting stable operation in typical industrial pump installations. Its variable-speed output can reduce abrupt pressure changes and mechanical loading when process demand changes. The integrated keypad provides direct access to operating values and control parameters from the front of the drive.
