Product Description:
The FC-202PK55T4131U0395 is an AC variable frequency drive developed by Danfoss within the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. This compact inverter regulates the speed of centrifugal pumps and fans in water supply and treatment facilities. By modulating the output frequency and voltage, it allows process controllers to match motor operation to demand, reducing energy consumption and hydraulic stress.
Its motor output rating of 0.55 kW corresponds to 0.75 HP, so it is sized for small-frame induction motors used on secondary service pumps and booster skids. The input section accepts 380–480 VAC three-phase power and delivers a continuous output current of 1.8 A at 380–440 V, providing capacity for normal running torque and moderate overload conditions. For applications that require elevated impeller speed, the inverter can raise the output frequency to 590 Hz, permitting a proportional flow increase without a mechanical gearbox. Analog feedback enters through a 10-bit converter that provides 1,024 discrete reference steps, offering suitable resolution for proportional-integral process loops and level control.
At full load, the drive dissipates 42 W, which can be managed through appropriate control-panel ventilation. Its electrical conversion efficiency is 0.95, so most of the supplied energy reaches the motor terminals. The logic card can source up to 40 mA on each digital output, and the pulse output can operate at frequencies up to 32 kHz for flow totalizers or high-speed counters. Upstream branch protection uses a maximum fuse rating of 10 A, while the power terminals accept motor leads up to 4 mm² and disconnect conductors up to 6 mm². Continuous input current is 1.6 A in the lower supply range and 1.4 A above 441 V. The corresponding output current above 441 V is 1.6 A, supporting accurate cable sizing and overload relay settings.
