The FC-202P90KT6E21 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. It converts a fixed three-phase mains supply into a modulated output that allows water-treatment, irrigation, and HVAC controllers to adjust motor speed in real time, improving flow regulation while minimizing energy waste. By integrating pump-specific functions, the drive streamlines automation tasks that require precise pressure or level control.
This model supplies a continuous motor current of 131 A and can momentarily deliver up to 144 A to accommodate short-term load peaks. Its electrical section is rated for 90 kW of output power, a capacity suitable for midrange centrifugal pumps and blowers. Conversion efficiency reaches 0.98, so only 2% of the input energy is lost inside the inverter stack, and the unit meets the IE2 energy-efficiency class. The low conversion losses simplify heat management inside control enclosures. The drive limits upstream demand to 124.3 A, allowing it to be protected with a 250 A pre-fuse without nuisance trips.
