Product Description:
The FC-202P75KT4131F1101 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss as part of the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase mains power into a modulated output for centrifugal pumps, blowers, and mixers. This speed control allows connected equipment to operate according to hydraulic load demand, reducing electrical consumption and mechanical wear in water-handling installations.
This model delivers 75 kW of continuous motor power when supplied from a three-phase line rated at 380 – 480 VAC. Within this operating range, the inverter achieves an efficiency of 0.98, so nearly all input power reaches the load. Output frequency can be adjusted up to 590 Hz, providing a broad speed range for oversynchronous operation or specialized pump curves. Even with dynamic loading, the DC-link and filter design maintain a true power factor of at least 0.9, limiting reactive current drawn from the utility. Cabling provisions support brake leads with a cross-sectional area of 95 mm², line or motor conductors with a cross-sectional area of 150 mm², and shielded motor cable runs up to 150 m. One programmable analog output, four digital inputs, and two digital outputs support basic process interlocks without external PLC cards.
The drive maintains its full rating at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C, which supports operation in compact enclosures with restricted ventilation. Its design meets the IE2 energy-efficiency classification and aligns with regional energy-saving requirements. Current imbalance tolerance is limited to 3.0%, helping protect the rectifier when one supply phase deviates from the others. The installation can be protected by a 250 A upstream fuse selected to accommodate the converter’s expected capacitor-charging current. Appropriate conductor sizing, shielding, grounding, and enclosure airflow remain important for maintaining electrical performance and controlling heat in large pump-room installations.
