Product Description:
The FC-202P45KT4131F1075 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. It modulates the speed of three-phase induction motors used in water and wastewater systems. This control allows pump or blower output to match demand while remaining within the protection limits set for the connected equipment.
This unit connects to a supply range of 380 – 480 VAC and is designed for three-phase power. Its inverter section can generate an output frequency from 0–590 Hz, giving the motor a wide mechanical speed range. Under normal airflow conditions, it delivers 45 kW of rated output power and supplies up to 80 A of continuous current to loads operating between 441 V and 480 V. A heavy-overload mode is available for higher-torque applications; in that mode, the drive is limited to 37 kW and 65 A. The DC link reproduces the incoming line so that the drive can provide an output voltage equal to 0–100% of the supply, allowing full-speed operation when required. Peak input demand from the mains reaches 73 A during acceleration and other transient conditions, which is important for breaker and cable sizing. A voltage tolerance of ±10% helps the electronics remain stable on weak or lightly regulated grids.
The drive supports continuous operation at temperatures up to 50 °C without derating when panel airflow is adequate. Installation is permitted at elevations up to 1000 m before automatic current reduction is applied. Motor leads may be run in shielded conduit up to 150 m from the cabinet, simplifying layouts with remotely mounted pumps. The control section tracks grid cycles across a range of 50/60 Hz +4/-6 %, maintaining consistent motor flux as the supply frequency changes. Protective algorithms remain active throughout this frequency range to help safeguard the drive and connected equipment during operation.
