Product Description:
The FC-202P3K7S2131Z2815 is a variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. As a member of the VLT AQUA Drive product group, it modulates the speed of centrifugal pumps, blowers, and other water-handling machinery so that flow matches real-time demand. By regulating motor frequency and voltage, the unit integrates into automated filtration, irrigation, and wastewater plants to lower energy use and reduce pressure shocks.
The drive operates from a mains supply of 200–240 VAC using single-phase power; this input is converted to a three-phase output that supports motors up to 3.7 kW. Under steady load, it transfers 6.0 kVA, draws 32 A on the line side, and delivers a continuous output of 16.7 A. For short acceleration periods, it can draw 35.2 A and supply 18.4 A through its time-limited overload capacity. A 60 A pre-fuse protects upstream conductors from excessive current. Motor leads may extend up to 150 m when shielded or 300 m when unshielded, allowing the drive to serve equipment located away from the control cabinet. All power conductors must have insulation rated for 75 °C to meet the cable temperature requirement.
Conversion efficiency reaches 0.98, and the drive dissipates 74 W of heat at nominal load. The enclosure tolerates ambient air temperatures up to 50 °C without derating, reducing the need for additional cabinet cooling under normal operating conditions. The drive can operate at altitudes up to 1000 m. Compliance with the stated shielded and unshielded motor-lead limits helps preserve electromagnetic compatibility in distributed pump installations. Its heat dissipation value can be used when determining the ventilation needed for an enclosed installation.
