Product Description:
The FC-202P30KT6134L1527 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. It is intended for pump and fan duties in water and wastewater systems where precise motor speed control supports stable flow and pressure. The drive converts fixed mains power into a variable-frequency output that regulates three-phase motors, thereby reducing energy use and mechanical wear in automated installations.
Rated output power reaches 30 kW, enabling the drive to handle pump motors up to 40 HP without derating. It accepts three-phase power at 575 V and draws a maximum of 37 A under full load, so upstream circuit components must be sized accordingly. An electrical conversion efficiency of 0.98 means that only 2% of the supplied energy becomes heat, which equates to a power loss of 600 W under nominal operating conditions. One analog output, two digital outputs, and a 5 ms control-card scan time provide supervisory channels for PLC or BMS integration. The analog port supports loads down to 500 Ω, and shielded motor leads may extend to 150 m while remaining within electromagnetic limits. An 80 A prefuse protects the rectifier section against overcurrent events.
The drive maintains full output at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C and altitudes up to 1000 m without derating, simplifying enclosure ventilation and installation in elevated facilities. Operation is permitted in air with a noncondensing relative humidity of up to 95%, making the drive suitable for pump stations exposed to spray or seasonal moisture. With a 575 V mains supply, the continuous apparent-power demand is 40.8 kVA, which can be used when sizing transformers and generators. Digital outputs can switch at frequencies up to 32 kHz, providing fine modulation for valve sequencing without relays. The drive carries an IE2 energy-efficiency classification.
