The FC-202P30KT2131B9311 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. The unit converts fixed-frequency mains power into a modulated output for centrifugal pumps, blowers, and other water-processing machinery. This output allows a connected controller to adjust motor speed in response to real-time flow or pressure demands in municipal and industrial treatment facilities.
Under normal ambient conditions, the drive supplies a continuous output power of 30 kW, equivalent to 40 HP, when connected to a 200–240 VAC network. The high-overload channel can provide 88 A, while normal-overload operation raises the output to 115 A for applications with frequent start-stop cycles. The corresponding input currents are 80 A during high-overload operation and 104 A during normal-overload operation. The drive draws 41.4 kVA from a 208 V bus. Overall conversion efficiency reaches 0.97, which reduces the amount of heat that must be removed from the enclosure. For analog feedback, the controller provides an 8-bit signal capable of driving a 500 Ω load, allowing external indicators to display process status without placing excessive demand on the control board.
The drive accepts three-phase power while using isolated, low-level signaling for its logic interfaces. Six digital inputs accept commands through an impedance of 4 kΩ and tolerate signals from 0–24 V DC. Status signals are returned through a 40 mA transistor output that can switch at frequencies up to 32 kHz. Parameter logging or valve actuation can use the auxiliary analog channel, which supports a 0/4–20 mA range for instrumentation loops. Supply-side protection requires fuses rated no higher than 160 A.
