Internal Product Review
The FC-202P15KT6134F5720 is a VLT FC 202 AQUA Drive rated at 15 kW for 525–600 V AC systems. From a controls standpoint, the IE2 efficiency class and 32 kHz maximum output frequency support smooth motor operation and energy-conscious performance. Support for 150 m shielded motor cable and 300 m unshielded motor cable makes the drive a strong choice for flexible industrial installation.

Product Description:
The FC-202P15KT6134F5720 is an AC variable-frequency drive released by Danfoss within the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. In pump and fan installations, it regulates induction motor speed so flow or pressure can be matched to demand, reducing energy use in water and wastewater facilities. Mounted in a control cabinet, the drive receives process commands from a PLC and generates a synchronized output waveform that replaces mechanical throttling with electronic speed control.
The power section accepts an input range of 525–600 V AC, allowing direct connection to high-voltage three-phase mains. At the motor terminals, the inverter can deliver a continuous electrical output of 15 kW, or 20 HP, for medium-capacity centrifugal pumps. The switching frequency can be adjusted up to 32 kHz; a higher frequency improves acoustic performance and reduces torque ripple at the expense of additional heat. Motor efficiency gains are complemented by the drive’s system classification of IE2, indicating compliance with common European efficiency benchmarks. Two analog inputs are sampled with 10-bit resolution, supporting proportional feedback from devices that monitor differential pressure or tank level. Four standard digital inputs, expandable to six, collect status contacts. Two digital or pulse outputs forward frequency or alarm information to local indicators, and an internal 24 V rail can source 200 mA for external transducers.
Cable routing is simplified because shielded motor leads may extend to 150 m, and unshielded runs can reach 300 m when electromagnetic compatibility permits. Full output is maintained up to an altitude of 1000 m and at an ambient temperature of 50 °C. Below 0 °C, the unit must remain idle until it warms sufficiently for operation. Protection devices should be sized for the recommended 40 A pre-fuse to clear upstream faults without causing nuisance trips.
