Product Description:
The FC-202P15KT4131X9274 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. This three-phase inverter modulates motor speed to match demand in pumping and aeration equipment used throughout water-treatment facilities. Adjusting the motor speed can lower energy use and reduce mechanical stress on centrifugal loads. The drive is suitable for systems that regulate water pressure, flow, or aeration according to changing process requirements.
The unit accepts an input voltage range of 380–480 VAC and supplies a continuous motor current of 27 A. Its 15 kW output corresponds to 20 HP, providing sufficient capacity for midsized process pumps. Drive losses are limited by an efficiency of 0.98, so most of the input power reaches the motor. Carrier modulation can be set as high as 32 kHz, which minimizes audible noise and improves current resolution. One analog output is available and can be configured for a 0/4–20 mA feedback signal. Two digital outputs can provide operating status or alarm signals to external controllers. The product has the internal series identifier 202, draws a continuous line current of 25 A, and operates with the three-phase power distribution commonly used in industrial motor control centers.
For short-term overloads, the inverter can momentarily deliver 29.7 A to accommodate rapid pressure changes without tripping. Operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C when the unit is installed with adequate cabinet ventilation. Upstream circuit protection supports a maximum fuse rating of 63 A, helping prevent fault current from exceeding conductor limits. Shielded motor cable runs may extend to 150 m, while unshielded runs can reach 300 m before reflected voltage or electromagnetic interference becomes a concern. The drive can draw an intermittent input current of 27.5 A during temporary load increases. Its support for shielded and unshielded motor leads allows the wiring method to be selected according to installation distance and interference-control requirements.
