Product Description:
The FC-202P11KT6135X1516 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. The unit converts fixed-frequency three-phase mains power into a modulated output that allows control systems to vary centrifugal pump and fan speeds. This speed control helps maintain stable pressure or flow in water treatment, irrigation, and HVAC processes while allowing the drive to fit into standard industrial control panels.
The drive is designed for three-phase installations and accepts an input voltage of 525–600 V AC without derating at elevations up to 1000 m. At the motor terminals, it can deliver a continuous output of 11 kW, and its power section works with upstream fuses rated at 40 A for short-circuit protection. Full-load efficiency reaches 0.98, which helps reduce heat generation in enclosed panels. Two programmable analog outputs provide 0/4–20 mA signals and support a minimum load impedance of 500 Ω. Six digital inputs with 4 kΩ resistance accept 0–24 V DC process signals from external control devices. A transistor digital output can supply 40 mA at frequencies up to 32 kHz for high-speed status signaling.
The inverter can operate with current derating at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C. It can also be installed at elevations as high as 3000 m when its output is adjusted according to the applicable altitude curve. Conformal-coated electronics tolerate up to 95% non-condensing relative humidity, supporting operation in moist pump rooms and outdoor control kiosks. Motor connections can use shielded cable runs as long as 150 m, while unshielded cable runs can extend to 300 m under the applicable installation conditions. A digital relay allows supervisory controllers to monitor operating status, and built-in PID control adjusts motor speed directly in response to signals from process transmitters.
