Product Description:
The FC-202P11KS4134G9711 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. Designed for industrial automation tasks involving pumps and fans, the unit modulates motor speed to match real-time flow or pressure targets, improving process control and reducing energy consumption. It operates from a three-phase mains supply and provides regulated three-phase power to the connected motor. This arrangement supports variable-speed operation in pumping, ventilation, and water-management systems that require stable motor control under changing process demands.
At 400 V, the drive sustains a continuous apparent power of 16.6 kVA, and this rises to 16.7 kVA at 460 V, ensuring steady output across the supported utility range. Corresponding continuous output currents reach 24 A on 380–440 V grids and 21 A when the line voltage is between 441 and 480 V; these values establish the long-term thermal load for connected cabling and contactors. Overall conversion efficiency is 0.96, so only a small fraction of the 11 kW (15 HP) rated motor output is lost as heat. For applications that require a wide speed range, the inverter can generate output frequencies up to 590 Hz, providing ample operating range for high-speed centrifugal equipment when the connected motor supports that frequency.
The input stage draws up to 48 A on the lower portion of the voltage range and 41 A on the upper portion, so branch circuits must be sized accordingly. A protective pre-fuse rated at 80 A is required to clear fault currents without unnecessary trips. Ambient operation is permitted at temperatures up to 50 °C, allowing placement in warm pump rooms when sufficient ventilation is available. Motor leads may extend up to 150 m with shielded cable or 300 m with unshielded cable, providing flexibility when locating the drive panel. Full-load power dissipation is 440 W, which must be considered when calculating enclosure ventilation and cooling requirements.
