Product Description:
The FC-202N400T7134G4368 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. The unit converts fixed-frequency three-phase mains power into a modulated output so automation controllers can set motor speed precisely. By regulating voltage and frequency electronically, it replaces mechanical throttling devices and supports efficient torque control in pump stations, conveyors, and other process equipment.
This drive supports a rated motor size of 400 kW, and its input section is designed for three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common industrial supplies. The inverter can switch its output carrier at frequencies up to 32 kHz, which helps minimize audible noise and improve current resolution. Dynamic stopping energy is dissipated through an integrated brake circuit that works with a 2.5 kW brake resistor. Safe operation of the brake circuit requires a cable cross section of 70 mm², a minimum resistance of 2.3 Ω, and a nominal resistance of 2.9 Ω. One analog output is available and can drive loads down to 500 Ω, while two digital or pulse outputs provide status or speed signals to external devices. Continuous operation is permitted at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C and altitudes up to 1,000 m without derating.
Installation distances are flexible because the drive can feed motors through shielded cables up to 150 m or unshielded cables up to 300 m while maintaining electromagnetic compatibility. An internal thermal relay rated at 113 A protects the power stage by opening when sustained overcurrent is detected. The product meets the IE2 energy-efficiency class, so its internal losses remain low during continuous operation. The longer unshielded cable allowance supports installations where shielded routing is impractical. Shielded cable remains available for applications that require greater control over electromagnetic emissions.
