Product Description:
The Danfoss FC-202N200T4134H1366 is an AC variable-frequency drive in the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series manufactured by Danfoss. Intended for centrifugal pumps, blowers, and other water-handling machinery, the unit converts fixed three-phase mains power into a regulated output that follows process setpoints. By varying motor speed rather than throttling valves, the drive helps automation systems maintain flow, level, or pressure with lower electrical and mechanical stress. Its configuration tools integrate easily with standard PLC networks, supporting use in pumping stations, booster skids, and similar process equipment.
The power section accepts three-phase input within the 380–480 VAC range, and it tolerates line excursions of ±10% without tripping. An internal inverter stage can generate carrier-modulated output frequencies up to 590 Hz, supporting oversynchronous operation for special duty cycles. Start-up and coast-down profiles can be stretched to a maximum of 3600 s, which helps reduce hydraulic shock in large pipe systems. Displacement power factor stays above 0.98, while true power factor remains at or above 0.9, reducing reactive demand on the supply. Efficiency is classified as IE2, and the drive includes control functions intended for pump and fan service.
For full-load delivery, the inverter is rated at 200 kW and includes an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, so additional EMC hardware is not required in many installations. Continuous operation is permitted in ambient temperatures up to 50 °C, at elevations reaching 1000 m without derating, and in environments where relative humidity climbs to 95%. Supply symmetry must be kept within the 3.0% phase-imbalance limit to prevent excess DC-link ripple. Maintaining balanced input phases helps the drive sustain stable operation during long-duty cycles.
