Product Description:
The FC-202N160T4134G6695 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. It regulates the speed of induction motors that power pumps, blowers, and other water-handling equipment so that flow or pressure follows process demand. By modulating output frequency, the drive minimizes energy consumption while maintaining stable operation in municipal or industrial fluid systems. The product integrates with conventional control panels through analog and digital signals and mounts inside electrical enclosures for protected indoor service.
The incoming supply range is 380 to 480 VAC, and the power section uses three-phase power, allowing the drive to connect directly to standard plant mains without a transformer. Its continuous output capacity is 160 kW, which is the maximum electrical power it can deliver to the motor terminals under nominal conditions. The single analog output has a resolution of 8 bits, allowing basic feedback of speed or load to supervisory controllers. That channel can operate with loads of at least 4 kΩ, so typical PLC analog inputs can be wired without external buffers.
For higher-speed pulse signaling, two transistor outputs can switch up to 40 mA, and one output reaches a maximum frequency of 32 kHz, supporting flow totalization or high-resolution encoder emulation. The power capacity is also rated at 225 hp, providing a convenient reference when retrofitting pump systems rated in imperial units. The drive can operate in ambient air temperatures up to 50 °C without current derating when mounted inside a ventilated panel. It also maintains its full rating at elevations up to 1000 m above sea level. Supported motor cable lengths extend to 150 m with shielded conductors or 300 m with unshielded conductors, providing flexibility for installation in large pumping facilities.
