Product Description:
The FC-202N160T4134F0371 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. Designed to regulate pumps and fans in water and wastewater facilities, the unit converts three-phase mains power into a variable-frequency output so system controllers can match motor speed to process demand. Adjustable torque and ramp profiles support energy-efficient flow control across changing operating conditions. The drive is suitable for continuous industrial service in pumping stations, treatment plants, and related process systems where controlled motor operation is required.
It accepts a supply range of 380 to 480 VAC from a three-phase power network and supports a continuous motor load of 160 kW, or approximately 225 hp. The output frequency can be adjusted up to 590 Hz, providing sufficient bandwidth for high-speed centrifugal equipment. A phase imbalance tolerance of 3.0% helps protect the input rectifier from uneven feeder conditions. The control terminal block provides two digital or pulse outputs and one analog output. Digital resolution is 12-bit, analog resolution is 8-bit, and the analog channel supports a sourcing current of 1 mA. These connections allow the drive to report operating status and transmit proportional feedback to a supervisory PLC.
The internal processor updates the drive logic every 5 ms, allowing the controller to react quickly to changing flow conditions. Analog feedback circuits can operate with loads up to 500 Ω without signal distortion. Digital monitors can switch currents up to 40 mA or count pulses at frequencies up to 32 kHz. Input contacts withstand 28 VDC and have a resistance of 4 kΩ, ensuring compatibility with common sensor power supplies. Programmable acceleration and deceleration times extend to 3600 s, enabling gentle starts for large pumps and helping mitigate water hammer. The available control timing and signal interfaces support integration with external automation equipment that manages pressure, level, and flow processes.
