Product Description:
The FC-202N132T4134H1387 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency mains power into a regulated output, allowing centrifugal pumps, blowers, and aerators to operate at the speed required by the process. Integrated water-specific macros support soft filling, pipe-burst detection, and PID pressure control, making the drive suitable for municipal and industrial water-treatment installations. Adjusting motor speed to actual demand can also reduce mechanical stress caused by abrupt starts and stops.
The rated motor capacity reaches 132 kW, so the inverter can operate large-frame induction motors without derating. It accepts a supply of 380–480 VAC across all three input lines and is intended for three-phase power networks found in utility switchboards. The analog control port delivers or sinks 0/4–20 mA, enabling direct flow or level feedback loops. High-speed logic functions use five-millisecond scan cycles, while four standard digital inputs accept contact or PNP signals and can be expanded to six inputs. A switching frequency of 32 kHz helps minimize audible motor noise, and the internal RFI filter meets the Class A1/B emission limits in EN 55011. An external resistor can dissipate 11 kW of continuous brake power when rapid deceleration is required. The minimum brake-resistor value is 3.0 Ω, while the nominal value is 4.4 Ω.
The drive supplies full current at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C and at installation elevations up to 1000 m without output reduction. Its enclosure tolerates up to 95% noncondensing relative humidity, helping protect the control electronics in humid pump rooms. Shielded and unshielded motor leads may each be run for up to 150 m, providing flexibility when the drive is installed in a remote control room. The same maximum total cable length applies under the reflected-wave guidance for long feeder runs. Observing this cable limit helps keep voltage stress within the connected motor’s insulation class.
