Product Description:
The FC-202N110T4134H1365 is a Danfoss drive from the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series designed for pumping, aeration, and filtration duties in water and wastewater automation. By modulating the speed of three-phase induction motors, the unit allows process controllers to match flow and pressure to real-time demand, reducing energy consumption and mechanical stress. Its control functions are tailored to liquid-handling equipment used in municipal and industrial fluid-treatment lines. Pump-oriented features support applications such as pressure regulation, flow control, staged operation, and process circulation. The variable-speed output also reduces the abrupt mechanical loading associated with direct motor starting.
The drive accepts a three-phase supply between 380–480 VAC and delivers up to 110 kW of continuous electrical output, corresponding to approximately 150 HP at the motor shaft. The inverter uses carrier-based pulse-width modulation and supports output frequencies up to 590 Hz, providing a broad operating range for connected motors and overspeed cleaning cycles. Internal components can operate at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C; operation above this limit requires derating. An integrated RFI filter complies with RFI Class A1/B (C1), helping the drive meet strict conducted-emission limits without an external filter in suitable installations. The three-phase input arrangement keeps supply loading balanced during normal operation. Continuous output capability allows the converter to support demanding pumps and other fluid-handling equipment where motor speed must change with process conditions.
The VLT AQUA Drive platform provides one analog output that can source up to 1 mA into loads with a resistance of at least 500 Ω. This channel uses 8-bit resolution for drive-side monitoring and communication with connected control equipment. The pulse-train output can switch at frequencies up to 32 kHz, enabling connection to external counters used for flow metering or speed monitoring. Two digital output relays are also available, and each output can handle up to 40 mA. Control inputs are buffered by 4 kΩ optoisolator networks and tolerate voltages up to 28 V DC, allowing direct connection to compatible PLC transistor cards. Pump-optimized control macros coordinate these input and output resources for common water-management functions. The available channels can exchange commands, operating status, and process feedback with a supervisory controller while maintaining electrical isolation at the control inputs.
