Product Description:

The 136H5583 is an intelligent frequency converter built by Danfoss Automation for motion and torque control in water and wastewater management applications. This converter is a compact device that is able to automatically adapt its operation to the current load and operation requirements. It has a compact enclosure and will easily maintain high efficiency levels when exposed to harsh environmental conditions. The enclosure of this unit is designed to meet the IP66 protection category. This eliminates the need for a control cabinet for additional protection, and it also makes it possible for the unit to be directly installed where it is needed. The Automatic Energy Optimization capacity of this product saves between 3 to 8 percent in energy during the operation of the unit, and it also ensures that connected motors produce less heat and operate at a high level of efficiency.

The 136H5583 frequency converter is equipped with a heatsink that helps in the dissipation of excess heat away from its enclosure. For the heatsink to properly function, the converter should have access to a consistent flow of cool air around its housing unit. The front panel of this product features a graphical control panel on which there is a display unit and keyboard. Configuration parameters that control the operation of this product can be directly sent to the unit through this control panel.

The 136H5583 frequency converter is without a brake chopper; however, there is a factory-installed Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) filter which prevents high frequency signals from interfering with the operation of the product. The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) used in this product is coated and is able to function at a top level for long periods. Installation altitude for this product should be maintained below 1000 meters above sea level.
