The Danfoss 135N5930 is a high-performance VLT AQUA Drive from the FC 202 series. It was designed particularly for variable torque (VT) applications in water, wastewater, and industry. This drive has a power rating of 18.5 kW and a constant current of 27 amps, making it perfect for controlling pumps, blowers, fans, and compressors in places where the load changes a lot every day, such water treatment plants. It works with a three-phase input voltage of 380–480 VAC and is encased in an IP66/NEMA 4X-rated casing that protects it very well from dust, water, and hard circumstances. This makes it good for both indoor and tough industrial settings. The drive has a graphical local control panel (LCP) that makes it easy to set up, keep an eye on, and fix problems.

The FC 202 AQUA Drive is designed to automatically adjust itself to get the best performance. It keeps an eye on important factors including internal temperature, load current, DC bus voltage, and motor speed all the time. When important limits are reached, the drive may smartly change its switching frequency or pattern. If needed, it can also lower the output current automatically to keep working longer and avoid problems, which makes it more reliable and increases uptime. When installing at high altitudes, low speeds, or with lengthy or big cross-section motor cables, or when the temperature is quite high, derating is very important.

Air doesn't cool as well over 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) of elevation, therefore to keep the device running reliably and prevent thermal overload, either the maximum output current or the permitted ambient temperature must be derated according to the manufacturer's instructions.
