The 135N5817 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss and supplied under the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. It belongs to the VLT AQUA Drive product group and is intended for pump and blower systems used in water and wastewater processing. By adjusting motor speed in response to process demand, the drive supports controlled flow, pressure, and equipment operation. Its variable-frequency output allows connected motors to operate across the speed range required by the application rather than continuously running at full speed.

This model provides up to 50 HP of mechanical output, corresponding to a continuous electrical output of 37 kW. It accepts a mains supply ranging from 380–480 VAC through a three-phase power network. The IP66 / NEMA 4X enclosure protects internal components against dust and powerful water jets, making the drive suitable for demanding installation areas. Standard cable entries allow field wiring to pass through gasketed glands while preserving the enclosure seal. Adaptation A provides the standard cable-entry arrangement, while Adaptation B leaves the base frame unchanged. The mains section includes a disconnect and fuse for local power isolation and circuit protection. Motor braking energy is not dissipated internally because the drive does not include a brake chopper. The Series 202 design aligns the unit with the physical arrangement and operating platform of the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series.

Network communication is provided by the EtherNet/IP MCA 121 option card, allowing the drive to exchange commands, operating data, and status information with compatible control systems. A graphical local control panel provides direct access to operating values and adjustable parameters without requiring a separate interface device. The installed standard language pack presents menu text for commonly supported installation regions. Printed circuit boards have a coated PCB finish that helps protect electronic components from moisture and airborne contaminants in pump rooms and similar locations. An integrated RFI filter reduces conducted electrical emissions, including interference associated with longer motor cable runs. The factory-installed mains disconnect and fuse reduce the need for separate isolation components inside the surrounding panel. The drive is supplied without B, C0, C1, or D option modules, leaving those expansion positions unused and keeping the internal arrangement straightforward.
