.The 134L9259 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss Automation as part of the VLT AQUA Drive FC 202 product series. The drive is a motion control device built specifically for water and waste water applications. It features an integrated Smart Start Wizard Software and the quick Menu that guides the user through the commissioning process. This unique design of this product provides it with a wide range of standard and optional operation features including cascade control, dry-run detection, motor alternation, Safe torque Off, and low flow detection. When used to control water, it guarantees up to 50 percent in energy savings. The improved control provided by this drive includes quick modification of the connected fan or pump to the new flow of pressure conditions in the system.

The 134L9259 variable drive operates by supplying a regulated amount of AC line power to the motor to control its speed, it also supplies variable frequency and voltage to the motor. There is a dynamic brake option integrated into the drive for connection to an external brake resistor, this function helps to limit the voltage in the intermediate circuit whenever the maximum voltage limit is exceeded. The automated operational features of this converter include short circuit protection, overvoltage protection, missing motor phase protection, and overload protection of the connected motor. Most of these automated operational features are active as soon as the adjustable frequency drive is operating, they do not require no programming or set-up by the operator.

The 134L9259 frequency converter is designed to comply with the EMC product standard for drives IEC 61800-3, as well as the European standard EN 55011. The converter is also able to measure the electrical characteristics of the motor through the use of the Automatic Motor Adaptation.
