The 131Z7437 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. It modulates the speed of motors that operate pumps and fans in water and wastewater systems. By adjusting output frequency and voltage, the drive can match motor performance to changing process demand. The Series 202 configuration supports common flow-control applications such as water distribution, pumping stations, and treatment systems.

The drive accepts 380–480 VAC from a three-phase power supply, allowing direct connection to common 400 V and 480 V industrial feeders. It supplies a continuous output of 7.5 kW, which corresponds to 10 HP for compatible centrifugal pumps and fans. The IP20 chassis enclosure is intended for installation inside a clean electrical cabinet that prevents contact with live components. Standard cable entries are pre-cut to simplify the routing of mains, motor, and control wiring through the housing. The unit does not include a mains disconnect option, so line isolation must be provided separately as part of the installation. Its chassis format allows cabinet airflow to pass over the drive’s cooling surfaces while maintaining access to the power and control terminals.

An integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter attenuates conducted electrical emissions when suitable shielding and grounding practices are used. Fieldbus connectivity is provided by the PROFINET MCA 120 option, which supports cyclic speed commands, operating data, and diagnostic communication over Industrial Ethernet. Local parameter entry uses a detachable graphical LCP that presents readable text, operating values, and trend views through the standard language pack. The panel provides direct access to drive status and configuration menus without requiring a separate computer connection. The inverter includes Safe Stop functionality, which prevents torque generation when the safety input is activated. This function can support controlled machine shutdown arrangements when it is integrated with the required external safety circuit. The printed circuit boards do not have a protective coating, so the cabinet must limit exposure to condensation, excessive humidity, and airborne contaminants. Appropriate enclosure ventilation and climate control help protect the internal electronics in demanding water-processing facilities.
