The 131U2635 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 202 AQUA Drives series. By synthesizing adjustable-frequency, adjustable-voltage output from a constant three-phase supply, it allows automation systems to regulate centrifugal pumps, blowers, and similar rotating equipment used in municipal water treatment, irrigation, and wastewater aeration. Integrated application functions such as sleep mode and flow compensation let process controllers match motor speed to real-time demand, lowering power consumption and minimizing mechanical shock during long duty cycles. These functions also help reduce unnecessary motor operation when system demand falls below the configured threshold.
The drive delivers a continuous output of 3.0 kW, equivalent to 4.0 HP, so it is sized for medium-frame induction motors commonly found on pump skids with flow rates below 40 m³/h.
